Want To Find: Good BMW shop in PDX area.

I have a couple more things to check on my project E30 before I take it somewhere to get it figured out. Its a NVM50 in a 90 E30 and I cant get it to crank. Any BMW shops in the area brave enough to take it? Im pretty tired of the "I didn't build it so I don't know what to do with it" excuse.

Try Pacific Motorsports. They're a bit more expensive but they have lots of experience with 24V e30s and Mark is a stand-up guy.

I might try them but they weren't even brave enough to install my mono wiper. I was surprised because I was willing to pay for it but he said "i'll pass" They did get my silver car up and running though.

Phill: Yes we should do a little gandering first.

The battery is charged but I think the alarm is still doing something to it even though I took out as much of it as I could find.

Agree, Chris Rohm does a great job. I've worked with every BMW shop in town and he is by far the best mechanic and the most honest.

It cranks, but doesn't fire, IIRC.

No crank either. When I took out the alarm it had a ignition kill attached to the ignition switch and I took that out but still nothing. Im going to try another ignition switch then Im sort of out of ideas other than just checking the starter wires again.
