Anyone know who purchased the M3 In belltown

Hey all anyone know who purchased the M3 in belltown? The car at one time was in my family, and the family member that owned it passed away. I had a deal with the seller to purchase the car, but he sold it anyhow. I was going to pick it up first thing in the morning he listed it at 10pm. No worries things happen, but if you purchased it and want to make some cash I will buy it. Cash, I don't care what it looks like. Thanks for anyone that can help, it was silver with black interior. 88 E30 M3.

For $2500 I don't think it would have lasted a minute anyways.. I textd him within the hour and it was sold.

May be not coz as soon as it was sold, the OP posted an ad on cl requesting the buyer to get in touch with him for a buy-back like he's doing here, which means he knows about the car, so may be it was there for real.

I was not the op of the add. The guy that listed the car on CR told me he would hold it until the am, then sold it. I even offered to pay him an extra $500 for his trouble. I am just looking for the car now, because it was a now passed on family members car and I would really like to get it back for his son. Willing to pay an honest amount to the new owner if he will sell it. Thanks all.

^^^ I meant that you are the one who started this thread and you are the one who posted an ad asking who had bought the car on craigslist.. Right? Did you know the car and that the seller had the car for sure?

I am sorry Gath I misunderstood you. Yes I knew the car that's how I knew it was from a family member that had passed away a few years ago's old car. I don't know if he had it for sure, he did however give some pretty specific things about the car and his phone number and I spoke to him on the phone. Those would all lead me to believe he actually did in fact have a M3. But who knows maybe it was a wild goose chase. He mentioned all the vins on the body panels matching, most don't know that these cars have vins all over so I really think he had the car.
Grand, no it was a running driving car with a small leak in the radiator. Which was a deal breaker for sure lol. Thanks for the help guys. Sorry I did not introduce myself properly.
