Trunk Tool Kit-What have you done.

I have re-installed my diff with just the factory jack and the trunk tool kit. I was driving, had heard a clunk from the rear for a while(bad, I know), thought it was my subframe bushings.

Yesterday comes along, went to downshift, heard a bigger clunk, and then heard knocking from the rear. Jacked up and climbed under the car(not smart, but had to be done) and found diff hanging on by one bolt. One other bolt was just hanging there, and two where gone.

Started with 19mm in trunk and tire alignment tool(for installing wheels), and lined up front hole. Got bolt in opposite side and tightened up two remaining bolts.

Drove it home like this(with no more clunking, lol) and reinstalled all new bolts.

    So what have you done...........

I haven't touched my tool kit but this is a pretty epic story. I think I would crap if my diff almost fell out while driving.

I once had my front caliper bracket break off and my caliper lodge into my wheel. Destroyed the wheel and tire but luckily I was going slow.
