16" or 17"? Highly doubt you will find any at a wrecker...

Thinking 16's, but would likely jump on some 17's if the deal was right.

What are they going on? I'm assuming you're not gonna be doing a fill-and-drill for your vert. I may end up fighting you over a set if I end up with the E24 I'm looking at.

Yeah, for the vert. Classy and reasonably priced. We're keeping it another year, then selling it to fund an e30m3 or touring project.

Thaaaaat just got me excited. You should talk to Dave Lumbra (2002 Restorations) and/or his son, Evan, about the M3 if you end up going that route. They have have one and they seem to be pretty good at finding them for good prices before they even end up on the market. There's a shitload of old Bimmer knowledge between those two.

i have a set of RC090's that im half way through refinishing. my audi needs some maintenance lovin' so im willing to let these go and scratch the project. ive already polished the lips and cleaned up the bolts w/ a tumbler. the faces need a media blast and a new coat of paint, the P/O didnt prep them well and the paint started lifting. its all disassembled at the moment as well. ill let em go for 600. i can get some pics if youre interested.

Yes please, pics would be good. krannichfeld at gmail dot com, thanks!

And I will def talk to them when I get close. I'm really tempted to do a touring, I think I pretty much have the process down and can get one in the states, even under the 25 yr mark.

Either way you go they're great people to get to know. Evan would be excited to see a touring here in Eugene.

Ya, $750. I 100% don't need them, the weaves have brand new ziex 912's on them and selling the car in a year. Definitely more interested in 16's due to cost.
