clear coat is bad on both. im not sure what his intention is whether to drive or part, sounds like he might use the running gear in another shell. btw congrats gary on owning your first 'streetable' e30... see you at the picnic!

He's going to drive it as is for a while, it's a decent street car. Eventually he may swap the drivetrain in to the 2-door shell he has, or he may not. It will also be his back-up PRO3 drivetrain in case of RACECAR FAIL.

Ya, I'm going to keep it as is for now and drive it, once I fix the RR wheel bearing that is. This is my first street E30. I'm planning to go to the picnic with it.
