    Upcoming BMW CCA Events

    Hey guys,

There are a couple great events coming up that you should know about. First up is the Sequim Garage Tour on Saturday, June 23rd. I know this is the same weekend as the E30 picnic but thought I'd throw it out there anyway. We're joining the Mercedes club to go up to Sequim to tour Brown Maloney's garages. You may remember that last summer this car was displayed at the Cars in the Park event at Portland Art Museum:

This 507 is one of Brown's cars. He is more of a Mercedes guy and I'm not sure how many BMWs he has but this is a pretty rare opportunity to see a pretty interesting collection of cars and motorcycles. Make a weekend of it: hit this on Saturday and you'll still have time to make it to James' place on Saturday night and the e30 picnic on Sunday.

Next up is the Portland Historic Races BMW CCA Corral taking place July 6-9 at PIR. We have e9, 2002, e21, e24, e36, e34, e39, e46, e85, e86, e90 all represented but no e30, no e28. Come on guys. You don't have to be a member to join this event. 3 days of racing, free bbq Saturday and Sunday, admission for you and a guest all 3 days, and a parade lap on the track. This is great deal, you should join us and have some fun. If you haven't been to the historics, you're missing out on a great event.

There are more events coming up; Curves to Coast (this weekend), Eastern Washington Tour, Maryhill Loops, Motorfest, Mt. St. Helens Tour, Leavenworth Oktoberfest Tour, Covered Bridges Tour. You can register for open events at bmworegoncca.motorsportreg.com or get info on our website at bmworegoncca.com/club-events.

Some events, such as, Maryhill Loops, require you to be an active member of the BMW CCA. If you're not currently a member and are interested in signing up you can do so at my referral link in my sig.

Sounds like a lot of fun! Might have to register so I can start doing a few more of these events. Thanks for the info, David!

shit, I won't get to do the Maryhill Loops again.

I strongly encourage anyone who has time to attend that drive. it's a road that is closed to public access, so this is the only time people get to drive on it. so worth it - great surface, banked curves, drive-at-your-own-risk adrenaline and an incredible view from the top.

Last day to register for the Historics...check out this member-owned CSL Jagermeister scheduled to race...www.facebook.com/bmworegoncca I posted a video in the comments of this car running 2 weeks ago at the Sonoma Historics

You don't have to be a CCA member to join us in the corral (one of the few events where you don't have to be a member). Here's the link to sign up:
