The ironic thing is when you import a car 15 years or older from the states its as simple as pie, but when the you try to import one from Canada to the US its like signing a peace treaty. The Canadian model doesn't have the dual kph and mph? I thought all of the Canadian model cars for NA market have these?
I know markers, safety, and other stuff require DOT tags.
But shouldn't the BMW USA letter stating it complies with all FSMV then it should be okay for DOT correct?
