1985 BMW (E30)
Our shop purchased this car with the plans to build it for pro3/spec e30 racing but have decided to go a different route. We are no longer in need of this shell. This car has been restored via body work and paint. Entire shell was taken down to bare metal, epoxy primed and re-sprayed base clear in bmw colors. Midnight pearl (black w/ navy pearl), titanium silver and calypso red. Interior is also painted white, all jambs jambs are also painted midnight pearl to match. Door moldings removed, door lock cylinders, hood squirters, trunk antenna etc have all been shaved to keep body streamline. Have glass for car as well. I have hundreds of high res photos of the entire tear down and work done thus far if you need more photos.
This car is ready for cage install and re-assembly with race parts.
Chassis wise, the car is perfectly straight and true. Doors have been gutted (weigh 15lbs each), all body panels aligned, moon roof and cassette removed.
Prep-wise: door frames, rear window frames, sail panels, inner quarter, wheel wells and trunk have been stitch welded for rigidity.
Comes with: dash, moonroof plug, rear firewall, PFEBA mTech2 bumper cover and valance, plastic rear bumper
Original M10 motor, trans and diff are still in the car.
