^ I did read, I read it very well. However, someone should and most likely would trust someone who has done it many times instead of doing it themselves, especially if they are asking about where to take it. That in itself shows he does not want to try to do it himself, which is perfectly fine! Most of us want our cars to work again after big conversions are done...

Since when is an AUTO - 5 Speed conversion BIG?

So you read the whole first half of the sentence? I am curious to ask, because of your post. I am assuming from your post, that I was stating the guy shouldn't take it to Lucky & he should just do it himself.

Some folks just DON'T have the proper tools, space, or skill to tackle mechanical projects. Anything from oil changes to engine swaps and everything in between. That is what mechanics and shops are for. Great job doing it yourself, but please stop arguing about it in this thread

+ 1. Some of us make a living doing what folks can't or won't. Its called having a useful specialized skill. There is plenty of work I farm out and I run a shop!

                Luther,
it's not a hard job is you have all the tools. just a pita.
a note for the petal box, just run w/o a return spring, with airbag cars its just not worth the work to replace that box.
                parts u need:
transmission, new guibo, driveshaft, trans mount and bushings, clutch slave and master cylinders, the steal line, and retainer, mst cyl feed line, slave feed line(get braided steel upgrade) late model shift linkage (carrier) (consider UUC short shift kit, i love mine), reverse light switch, clutch, flywheel+bolts(dont reuse), and replace rear main seal and all transmission seals.
^i might be missing 1 or 2 things.
i wired in a switch so i can use my cruise control (the easy fix)
cost me about $500 w/ all new wear parts.
                Much wow
                I hate 4 doors

I really appreciate all the information and suggestions guys....I would LOVE to do it myself but I really don't have the time, tools OR space to do it on my own. I know where to go when that time comes though! Again, you guys are freakin awesome!
