    haha i spent all of last night doing the same thing. there are some sweet cars/parts in LA and San Diego, but seemingly never around here...

            Part of that I think has to do with how many of PNW car owners in general tend to cling to cars longer than some other parts of the country. Not to mention there seems to be a lot of people who highly (dare I say over) value what they have, and would rather hang on to their vehicle rather than let it go for too cheap.

            Not sayin' good or bad, since the fact people tend to value car's higher here, they tend to be taken care of fairly well. Which might explain why we have seen lately an amazing assortment of older BMW, SAAB, Volvo's and even rarer cars pop up on BAT from the PNW. Heck, I remember back in the late 80's and seeing the PNW Sunbeam Tiger club down in the Medford area, and there had to be 30 car's strong.

            While yes, you won't see an Alpina come up on Craigslist much here, there is quite a few in the area, and the owners are well aware of the value..

                  Funny you say that, I bought my '87 from the original owner last year and he had a Saab SPG as well.
