I imagine E30s are going to go the same way, a bone stock 325i might be relatively cheap now but as soon as they keep getting cut up, drifted, donked whatever is the popular trend at this point the rarity is going to go up and we'll all say "Damn.. I remember way back when that stuff was cheap." So leave the i and iS models alone, learn from my example and only molest Eta models. Nobody loves Eta models, Bronzit even more so.

Or if you are going to modify, ensure that you've got the parts to put it back to stock relatively easily. In about 3 years my stock pile of parts is going to be worth more than drugs. Especially if these E30 guys keep killing motors and heads by not changing timing belts.

Austin - you're fine and I realize that you're only poking for fun. You still owe me a drink. At this point I will take some form of Starbucks or Jamba Juice or some other suitable yuppie drink. I will also accept you waxing my car as I'm in a mood to recreate "The Karate Kid" ie get you to do household chores for me. :-P

    Dam drugs really are powerful

Sure absolutely I will show you my ways. I'm going to quote the diner owner from Back to the Future "You can start by sweeping the floors."

Or I'll let you borrow my sand blasting box when you have parts that need cleaning. That's going to be the next big thing for R3V I think when I get into that house I'm after and plump it for a big compressor. R3V sandblasting parties could be as big as detail parties. That is to say... 30 people who may as well be cats try to get together and accomplish something but we end up eating, distracted by shiny objects and end up taking a nap instead.

That's like priority number one right now, if I had the air to run that cabinet full time believe me I wouldn't eat or sleep or mow the lawn. I'd just accumulate parts give 'em a quick cleaning and stow them for the days when there are no more E30s for sale and we all lament "Where have all the Bronzits gone?"

I've got a sandblaster, but not many people know about it. Guess the jig's up now... ;)

          Keep it coming, my friend...

Wait wait wait Austin. We need to talk more about this sandblaster situation.

Are we talking for large parts or is it inside a media cabinet? I'm getting tired of sanding the metal on the hood to keep it smooth so it'll rust appropriately. Honest to God if it doesn't rust the way I like I'm going to have it done in vinyl wrap with some version of the Red Baron.

[Edit] I don't mean the pizza I can already see you salivating

Well, I can fit a 58cm track bike frame in it. Answer your question? It's a cabinet of sorts.

Pass. Kudos on the bicycle though, it's good to know you can fit large objects in tiny things (Hello! That's what she said!)

Unless you want me to teach you about gunsmithing, hand-loading or trap shooting I'm at a loss dude.

My only other suggestion is we give you the Bronzit treatment. Not for the car, I'm talking spray on tan. Since you wouldn't battle 5 toes for my amusement something has to be done about it. I'll even pay for the treatment if you're willing. We could do a photo montage... "Red out the outside, Bronze on the inside" or something. I like this idea, keep the ball rolling.

Also this officially has become the "I'm bored and hanging out on R3V thread now."
