    WTB: 885 head to rebuild

My 87 325is has 207,000 miles with the original stock hex bolts. It runs good but I'm looking for a head to rebuild and have ready to go on the car. As long as the casting is good I'm interested.
It will be a winter project and I thought I better find one now before the racers use up all the parts:

Let me know what you have, Thanks

I have a disassembled 885 head with most rockers (I think 10/12,) 11/12 valves (one bent intake, so i tossed it,) clean head with no damage to surface, seats etc. No cam or rocker clips/springs. I can have it surfaced (machined) for a fee.

PM me with an offer, if you are interested.

Austin, I'm interested as I already have a cracked head for parts.
        I'll PM an offer.
djjerme, I'm not Joe. You bought some parts from me in Vancouver last summer when I had the 5 speed donor car. How soon we forget.

          Sounds good, man.

BTW, the Joe he is referring to is Joseph Gilmore of Munich Motorworks in SE Portland. He races in PRO3 and builds PRO3 cars for customers.

I stand corrected djjerme. You were referring to the Craigslist post.
            Austin, you are very fast.
Still looking for a winter project.

I was going to say - I am sure that is Gilmore's car, since I spent the first part of the last race staring at it's back end! :)
