    WTB E36 328i/M3 Drive Shaft - ACQUIRED

So I am going to post this up here as I still want to get a proper drive shaft and flex disc, I strongly dislike this revshift 24V flex disc. So I am looking for the large flange drive shaft (96mm) off a 328i/M3 (4 bolt rear), it also came on the E30 M3 and the 6/86+ 325e.

I am looking for something local'ish and not super expensive. I am currently located in Eastern Washington, have connections in Central and Western Washington, as well as the Portland Area. I will schedule a pick up on the part so no worries on shipping.

Just let me know if you have what I am asking for here. I would be willing to sell/trade a 325i driveshaft and also the 24V revshift flex disc although they are both on my car and it is my one and only Daily Driver.

    Thanks,
    Brandon

What happened to your custom shortened driveshaft?

Never had a custom shortened driveshaft...?

See why I am in need of proper driveshaft: Working with Revshift now...

The E30 325i works for length, but that stupid flex disc doesn't work. Revshift is blaming it on my modified shift carrier and selector rod. They are 'modified' to be identical to that of an E36, which is what it is supposed to 'work' with.

Thought you were going to have your M42 shaft shortened, but I remembered you were going to try the Revshift guibo with M20 shaft.

Modified to the same length, not to the same position, that's why the e36 one has the hole the shifter goes into offers more than the e30 one.

              Did you mean offset?

It would still hit because the selector rod isn't offset as extreme.

I put my E39 ZF shift lever in and it seems to clear it... only about 1/8" of clearance in 2nd gear, but its not hitting like it was.

The problem was the E30 lever is about 1.5-1.6 inches from the large ball to the selector where as the E36/E39 is 1 inch.

                  NO LONGER NEED DRIVE SHAFT!

If you have the harmonic balancer thing on the driveshaft still (referred to as a donut, sometimes,) take it off! Makes for better clearances.

I don't know of any harmonic balancer on any of my drivelines.

Going to casually look for the drive shaft again. The revshift is working fine in the meantime, I just am picky when it comes to even the slightest vibrations.
