In need of some local help...

Sup peeps.
So, I've owned my red 1990 325i sedan for about 4 months now. Gotten it for super cheap with a blown motor. I finally got the new motor in, did a 5 speed swap, and just all the little things here and there. I have one problem though, and it's that the car just won't start! James, the site owner, came over a few weeks back and did a few things to test out what the problem might me.
His output: It's either my wire harness or my DME.

If someone lives around the Tacoma, Wa area, is there ANY chance that you could come by my place so that we could swap out the DME's and see if the car starts? I'll throw in some cash if you want. I just don't want to buy a new DME, and then find out that it's the harness that I needed..

I'm super desperate, due to a few friends bailing out on helping me.
Anyone think they could help?

But if someone has an extra one laying around, locally, and comes to my house to plug it in, IF the car starts, I'll buy it on the spot!

I don't have a DME, but I could play UPS for a day. I go to Gig Harbor at least two to three times a week.
