Any takers for Saturday? All of the usual CCA volunteers are helping out at Motorfest.

Come on, easiest job ever. Hand out some spotters guides and water, hang with the Pro3 crowd, see some racing. BBQ2U (best ribs I ever had) nearby. Sounds like a great Saturday to me.

When do the actual races start on Sunday? I'm seeing 8-5PM is that the length of the whole thing?

PRO3 race on Sunday is a Noon. 45 minutes long.

First day was today, lots of testing for the PRO3 boys. 37 PRO3 cars on track, the rest coming in tonight. Tomorrow is a qualifying session in the AM, then a 35 minute race, with the results setting the grid for the PRO3 Main event on Sunday at Noon.

Great race today with a record 41 Pro3 cars starting and some fast NASCAR's. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Yup, definitely got to meet some cool people that's for sure. According to the website the actual racing takes place at 2:00-2:30 tomorrow. I wonder if our weekend passes will secure a spot to observe from the stands.

Big thanks to Keith for 2 days helping in the PRO3 tent, and around the PRO3 Circus. Waiting for a couple more videos to get posted, then I'll throw them up here. Crazy starts.

OK, here you go. Took a couple of days for the guys to get their videos posted. 40 PRO3 cars going into the chicane at PIR, from many different viewpoints. This post will be for the Saturday Race, AKA the Pizza Race.

From Car 130 Mike Olsen's view who was about 3rd row on the start, a number of front runners miss the chicane, and are required to stop and hold before being released after the pack drives buy. 130 a big winner in this one:
