Room for rent in Portland with plenty of garage space and a workshop

I have a room to fill in my house and thought I’d post it on here. It’s located in Sellwood in a very nice neighborhood, perfect central location to reach all of Portland. The house is a 3 bedroom 2 full bath 1800sq ft. It has a huge open kitchen with 2 full sinks and a detached breakfast nook. The upstairs is just 2 bedrooms the other bathroom and an office. The downstairs living area is huge, very open, has high ceilings, lots of windows and a fireplace. The open room downstairs is a large room with nice carpet, full closets, a ceiling fan and a large window.

House has a long driveway, room for four cars front to back. That opens up to a 2.5 car garage with good lighting, very secure. The driveway and backyard are fully fenced in. The house has a full basement. This includes an off street pull in single car garage perfect for a project. The garage opens into a large open workshop. The rest of the basement is open with lots of storage areas. There is also a rec room with a pool table.

Right now it is just a good friend from college and myself living here. It’s just too much house for two people. We are easy going friendly people who are clean, organized and pay our bills on time. We both work in the automotive industry. Both of us are automotive enthusiasts and outdoors minded people. Both of us ski/snowboard, mountain bike, hike and work on cars. We are just looking for someone who is like-minded and easy going. Figured I had a better chance of finding that here than on craigslist.

    Open Immediately
    $600 a month plus utilities
    Security Deposit Needed

    PM me with any questions.

    -Nate

*Open to renting out just the street access garage

Meant to ask you earlier...how much for the garage? I will probably park the E30 this winter and don't want to leave it outside.

Should have phrase that differently. Most likely parking my E30 this winter and don't want to leave it outside.

Still open. Move in before the first, provided everything checks out, and I can waive part of the security deposit. Great chance to have a place to work on your car at home. Post in this thread or send me a PM and I can set up a time to meet and show the house. I can also send pictures if needed.

              Thanks.
