With my job moving from Hillsboro to Wilsonville, my commute has more than doubled and as much as I love driving the BMW it's just proving to be too expensive having to fill up once a week. So, she's on the market for sale and she's coming with a lot of accessories.

Since when I bought her back in '08 I have done a lot of work to bring her back up to spec. This included:
* Billy cartridges with H&R Sport springs (but the 325 spec'ed springs, not the 318, for a slightly higher spring rate).
* Replaced the brake rotors (ATE), pads (ATE), and brake fluid (ATE Blue).
* Installed stainless-steel brake lines (except for the ones that run under the rear subframe).
* Rebuilt the wonky e-brake (new pads, springs, adjusters).
* Replaced the rear strut mounts with a Rogue Engineering pieces.
* Replaced the rear half-shafts since the boots were damaged.
* Replaced the front and rear sway bar end links.
* Replaced the front control arms, fcabs (M3), and tie rods.
* Installed a RaceSkids skid plate.
* Replaced the worn-out clutch on the car.
* Swapped the open 4.10 diff for a 4.10 LSD.
* Replaced the stock, sealed low beams with Hella H4 units.
* Replaced the broken power antenna with a Z3 antenna mast, grommet, and base (but the base is now broken, see below).
* New muffler (as the old one was rusted through).
* Dash cover from BavAuto to cover up the cracked dash.
* Installed a Mtech 1 steering wheel (still have the stock one if you want it, with airbag!)
* Hexagonal floor mats to replace the worn out carpet ones.
* Installed a Yakima roof rack to haul stuff around (mostly fishing poles and such when going fishing at the coast).
* Car is currently wearing stock basketweaves with Falkien Ziex ZE-912 in 185/60-14 with about 25% tread left. The full sized spare in the trunk is also using a ZE-912 with 100% tread left.
* She recently passed DEQ and is registered until 10/2014.
* She's currently got 166k miles on the clock.
Some of the wear items that have been replaced while under my ownership (from what I can recall):
* Throttle Position Sensor
* Engine Coolant Sensor (to ECU)
* Coil Pack
* Thermostat
* All the accessory belts
The car gets routine oil replacement with Mahle oil filters and Shell Rotella-T (15W40) every 4000 miles.
Here's all the extra stuff that's coming with the car:
* A full set of bottlecaps with Bridgestone Blizzak WS60 in 185/55R14 with one season on them.
* A 12" Lukebox (uninstalled) with an Obscon 12" Sharkstooth sub (the recommended one!)
* A spare dash with a small crack near the cubbyhole (if you want to swap out the cracked dash for this unit).
* A gallon of Shell Rotella-T 15W40 and 5 Mahle oil filters for future oil changes.
* Probably whatever else I can find in my garage that's for my BMW, so when you do pick her up bring a friend with a truck (or a station wagon!)
And now for the bad part, here's what's wrong with the car:
* Paint is oxidized, with the clear coat starting to peel in the rear, driver-side quarter panel.
* The Z3 antenna base was broken during a trip to the Coast (was moving stuff around in the trunk and managed to get it hooked up on a folding camp chair and broke it). Radio still works, but of course, signal is much weaker than normal.
* Sunroof is broken. The mechanism to open/close is broken. Attempting to use it is very tight and I didn't want to break it any further. It's closed in the mostly closed position (see the attached pictures).
* The oil filter housing has a small crack in it from the previous owner. I didn't know this until I started chasing down an oil leak that eventually revealed that it was JB Welded. Picking at it, the JB Weld broke off. Since I was unable to find a replacement oil filter housing, I did the following (and it hasn't leaked since):
--> Removed all traces of the JB Weld from outside (and inside!) of the oil filter housing.
--> Applied some high-temp RTV to the outside of the oil filter housing along the crack.
--> Used a 4" rubber PVC coupler and a wide band clamp to apply external pressure to the oil filter housing and the RTV seal.
* I think there is a brake pad dragging, but every time I go looking for it I can't find it. Very intermittent, but I feel I should mention it.
All in all, she still runs good and I am driving her 300+ miles a week with no issues. So what does all this get to? How much am I asking for her? I am looking for $3,000 OBO for everything. Right now I'm not interested in parting her out, so don't bother asking as I need the garage space. If you want to contact me, please PM me here.
