For those asking what I went to (and the not-so-subtle bump), I transitioned to a '12 Golf TDI. It may not be as quick as the BMW but it's plenty quick enough and I get a lot better gas mileage out of it (even driving like it was the BMW).

Plan is eventually transition the TDI into a GTD-lite.
