Yes, you can use any motometer / vdo cluster and interchange parts.
Early verisons (ie 3 red SI lights and no front coding plug) suck, avoid them.
Also if you are getting a cluster from a 4 cylinder car be sure to swap the front coding plug for the tachometer to be accurate.
