Hmm... What to do with this S50...

So I picked up an S50 for really cheap. It was running (probably not very well) when it was pulled... When I tore it down this is what I found. What do you think I should do next? Get the head machined for sure but should I also have the block worked on? I am new to the BMW scene and appreciate any advice.

Looks like an oil burner. Probably want to do rings and rod bearings.

I was sorta thinking the same... However, looking at ring sets for this motor has discouraged me from that. I may as well buy new pistons for their price.
