    in need of an e36/m50 block!

    im doing a swap with my 1986 325e and im putting an m50 in it but i just took the hole thing apart and theres a lip on every cylinder. cylinder 6 is the worst so im in need of a decently cheap block. please contact me if you have one.

      There was a long block on Seattle CL $150 I think. Had cyl head, I think it was a TU motor even!

        yeah i saw that to but the guy was kinda sketchy and i guess they ran the motor till it blew so im thinking the blocks toast

          I saw that one too and almost went to pick it up. seemed kind of sketchy so I passed but I think it's still up there. I doubt the block is toast...I'd be more worried about the head and it sounds like you're good on that. he has a 413 red dme, too. I think he told me he'd take $175 for both or probably take $150 for both by this time. It could be sketchy but more likely he's probably just tired of it being around. If you can get a running m50 for around $500 bucks then it's hard to ask for more than what he's asking for an unknown longblock with no hang-ons.
