    Wtb heater valve

Does anyone know how to test it? I'm getting very little heat in the cabin the hoses going to and from the heater core are hot engine runs at op temp?

I just went through this same thing. The valve is supposed to be open except when the temp selector is set all the way to cold. Make sure you temp selector is working correctly. Your heater core could be partially clogged too. Basically have to pull the center console and knee trim to get to it then stand on your head to work on it.
The valve itself is just a 12v solenoid with a rubber valve attached to it. Once I got my valve out I drilled the "non-serviceable" rivets out and took the solenoid apart and cleaned things up. Bolted it back together with some small machine screws and it's been working for the last couple weeks.
    Have fun!!
