Yep, its a 5 speed. It used to be my car and I loved it, if him and his kids hadnt trashed the interior I would fix it up. I "Sold" it to him years ago and he was planning on giving me the last couple hundred with the scrap money but it never happened. It's just really frustrating because he lived with us for a year and now he won't even answer my calls/texts/emails etc. Every time we did talk it was fun, but he has just shut me out. He's done this before (he's got a masters in creative writing) but not this bad. I just want it off my property and move on.

Come down tomorrow to the Chumpcar race at PIR with a Flyer. Price it well under $500, and it will be gone by Sunday.

It needs a clutch and probably needs a bit of a tune up-it hasn't been driven in a year and a half. The body is pretty straight but the interior is kind of trashed. If somebody wanted it for a track car they can pm me

Dude, those GLs are badass. Never stop running. My buddies gl had a broken crank, and it ran for 2 days before we changed the motor. It was still running when we pulled it. If its 4wd then find some way to get a title for it, and make it your winter beater. They can go anywhere.

Had a similar situation at a house I was renting with 4 other gear heads.

We pushed the car out into the street a few streets away and it got towed away pretty quick. My name wasn't attached to it so I didn't really care, and obviously the "PO" didn't give a fuck. This was a parts car by the way.

One day the idea just came to me and my buddies and I made it happen!

Do you want to just get rid of the car? Why can't he file for a lost title?

It's a POS '87 Subaru GL that is probably too far gone to be worth anything, I just want it off my property, no money.

Can I just have a towing company take it away?

Just park it on the street side, it's gonna get towed away eventually.
They will bill the registered owner.
