nice, but e30 tax was added. If you deal with the federalizing process they are selling for like 2k usd in Germany.

It does look clean though. Swap in a g265 and bam.

That's hella spendy. Is this the typical going rate for a E30 Touring?

I'd honestly only pay 8k for the average touring such as this.

The ad has been flagged :(
From what I hear it is extremely expensive to bring in a touring, so I wouldn't doubt the price being high

I heard about 4k to bring one to us. That's from Germany. From Canada i doubt there would be much difficulty.

Depends on your hook up. A local guy I know (who may or may not run repair shop in town) is bringing one in next year as well. Using a relatives military connection I am told.. Either way, I expect the market to be flooded with them in the coming years. It's one of those models that was unobtainium for so long. And now with all the E30 fanboi's getting old(er) and starting families, it's easier to justify getting back in to an E30 if it's the family friendly touring model...

Just sayiin' look at how the Audi A3/A4's and Subaru's have enjoyed increasing Hipster popularity in the last 5 years..

If they become dime a dozen I'm going to get an early one and do euro bumpers and mt1 on it.

I been working on trying to get some imported the cheapest way I can? As I want a 325ix or a 325i Mtech fully loaded with all power options for myself to hall my bmw parts around and business advertising. I get diffrent stories from US customs and importers with DOT and EPA requirements. What I found out it has to be 25 years old to production date to be exempt from all federalizing requirements meaning a 01/88 is legal in January. if less then 25 it has to meet all DOT requirements if it is over 21 years old it is EPA exempt but has to be DOT approve. Also if it is several months off in being 25 years old bonded storage to maturity is an option as well. I called and asked some importers about federalizing cost NOT one assclown could give me a straight answer! The answer most give is it is very difficult to exsplain, I said NO problem I have time to listen, I been doing bmw parts and projects for 20 years once I said that 95% hung up on me. I can understand some cost and safety involved but there has to be a reasonable limit. and one importer was nice, and sorta resonable and exsplain a little and it was about a 1/3 less of everyone else in price, but for me still too much for my wants and budget. I am working with 2 to members on here to try to get some over, I am near 3 major ports on the eastcoast so recieveing is not an issue, the cost of reasonable shipping from over seas and a reliable source which I think I found on here. If anyone is intrested we can form a group and get some together, maybe it maybe cheaper in bulk shipping on frighterships or better in price per car from one of our UK forum friend members? There has to be some meeting in the middle of everything and reasonablity ? I am driving a RHD 1991/5 730i e32 and I am not sure if it was federalize or not? I only paided $3k for it. I bought it from the previous owner a few months ago, and it has been titled for a few years in the US. I have a title and that is all I worry about. There has to be a reasonable solution to all of our wants?

Flagged... I wanted to see how much?

I'll let mine go for $15,000.00 but that gets you an M3 so know know the outcome...
