FS: 325iX Engine/Front Clip $800

I have a complete E30 325iX engine and front clip for sale. Removed from a wrecked 1989 with 145K miles on it. Engine runs great, I have a video of it running before being removed. Comes with all accessories, belts, full wiring harness, starter, etc. ready to drop in and run. Will also come with both complete strut housings, brakes, front subframe, steering rack, tie rods, control arms, front axles, front diff (3.91 ratio), sway bar, etc.
$800 delivered in the Portland area. Can deliver to the rest of the PNW for a fee.

This is just possible conjecture but can you MAKE an ix with this + trans/transfercase? Like, is the body/front frame rails similar enough that you could unbolt a 2wd drivetrain and bolt in an awd drivetrain?

Well the front strut towers are setup at different angles, and there is a small indentation in the floor pan where the transfer case sits. There may be more differences as well. Not to say someone couldn't do it, just sounds like a lot of work
