Willing to pay for some help in Tacoma!!

So I'm willing to pay someone to come to my house and help me get my car running. I need someone that knows what they're doing and won't mess anything up.

I did a motor and manual tranny swap into my 1990 e30 sedan and now have a problem starting it up. Its just another m20, but with low miles. Motor turns and gets fuel, but doesn't get a spark. I've just recently installed a brand new engine harness and have like 2-3 connections left to connect, but not sure where the hell they'd go.

Please. Someone hit me up and help me out! I'm willing to pay!!

If my car doesn't take me all night I'll swing and see if its something obvious.

edit: Where in Tacoma are you? I'm really not trying to drive out to NE.

Like people have said in that thread... it looks like the CPS and ICV plugs. First of all... what is your crank position sensor plugged in to? If you're not getting spark, that is an extremely likely cause. Also, what is your idle control valve plugged in to? Can you really not find anything that isn't plugged in? Are you sure you've got all sensors etc. installed on the engine?

If you don't know what the CPS is, it is the sensor on the passenger side of the car that would be near your AC compressor if you have one. It mounts very close to the toothed wheel that is on the crank pulley. The sensor mounts there, and the wire runs in front of the timing cover to the other side of the engine bay. It goes to a little bracket. Just search on here and you'll come across a ton of threads about the CPS with photos.

I am just going off of memory here, but I believe the bracket is near the front of the intake manifold, or it might be under it a bit. Look around the area of the thermostat housing/intake manifold etc. Again, use the search and find some info/photos.

If I wasn't so extremely busy I would come over and give you a hand.
