You know, I was thinking about the lawyer idea. Because this whole situation is effed. A lawyer would be nice to have to actually bring up the laws I don't already know. I already have one law that would help me out. :)

Look up the 6th amendment speedy trial clause and then cases in Washington that have set precedent for situations like this. If you find one that is closely related, or identicle, to your situation, you can easily request a court date and use the precedent to argue your case. You don't need to pay big $$ for a lawyer if you do a bit of research and argue effectively yourself.That's what I did and got all the charges and fines with my case.
