Anyone want to help noob with bumper mod?

Hey fellas just thought I'd drop a line in the water to see if anyone would be willing to help with a bumper mod. Would be willing to dive to you if you have garage space. I'm from around the Tacoma area and hoping to tuck my big bumpers back a couple inches before I head back to school. Would be more than happy to supply the brews if you can help.

I need to work out more, I couldn't kick mine hard enough. But I just drove the car into the side of a Safeway and voici!

Don't be a turd, get some bumper shocks from a vert. They'll tuck your bumpers and still be functional.

Its pretty easy. Unbolt bumpers and take out shocks then drill the heck out of them and hammer them or something to compress them. Bolt em up and your done. Yayy!!

Watch out for the nasty fluid that comes squirting out.

Do this. Then you won't have a face full of fluid. I did mine on the bench. Cut the top off a 20oz pop bottle and use it as a shroud around the drill bit. It will catch the oil squirting out. Then lay an old towel down and compress them to what you want. Finally drill the hole through again and set with a self tapping screw to hold it where u want

How hard is it to detach the bumper?

Pretty easy. 4 bolts for each. Unbolt the bumper and slide it off the shocks. Then unbolt the shocks and slide em out
