    FS: M20B25 and G260 $500

Selling the complete engine and trans out of a 1990 325i Convertible. The car ran nicely, and would have driven fine if the front suspension hadn't been wrecked. Engine is clean, and had been owned and maintained by a mechanic previously. 260k miles

Engine is complete with all accessories, belts, and wiring harness. Also comes with the headers. Transmission comes with shift linkage carrier, flywheel, clutch. I do have a receipt for some recent transmission work.
Also included is the front subframe, steering rack, cabrio sway bar.

    $500
Located in Sherwood, delivery is a possibility.

You should swap all this into your newest alpine acquisition!

For future reference (I see you selling quite a few motors on here) Posting up compression numbers would be great to help move these things along.

Ran great and owned by a mechanic does not tell me anything about the engine internals. I've seen M20's appear to run fine with 1 - 2 cylinders below 100PSI. Which to me means I'm ripping the head off, having the guides / valves done, etc.

I personally will not buy a motor without compression results, leakdown would be nice as well, but compression tests are quick, easy, and tells the buyer alot about the motor. I've been burned before on used engines without compression numbers.
