Looking for a new daily

I am looking for a new daily to drive around while i fix the engine problems ive been having with my e30. I have about 1500 to spend and am looking around at everything. Theres an e21 in Portland that I would be interested in but with limited time its hard to pull the trigger on amtrak all the way down there if its not something feasible. Do you guys know of any decent cars for sale around that price? needs to be reliable enough for driving to work duties. Thanks

I was just daily shopping myself and originally wanted to spend $1500, but I found that another $1000 will get you a much nicer ride. Hell even $2,000 will buy a lot more car than $1500. I ended up with an e34 btw and love it!
