Engine block wanted!

I am looking for;

M50 block - (vanos or non-vanos) that does not have to be perfect as I will have it bored to 86mm

or

S50 block Must have clean cylinders

or (possibly)

S52 or M52 block S52 needs to be clean but M52 does not


I would also be interested in an S52 short block in good condition. I am posting this here because I am hoping to find something local. The reason I need a new block is because I just found some small scratches in one of my S50 cylinders that I don't think I can hone out. So, if anyone wants an S50 block let me know. Thanks.

Have you tried honing it out? You might be surprised. If not, I know Reckless_Havoc has one in Hillsboro. Kind of a drive, but it's a complete bottom end, fwiw.

Yeah, I actually did hone it already. I think it may be possible to hone them out, but I just don't know if I would be taking off too much material. The annoying thing is that it is only in one cylinder, the rest of the motor is in very good condition.

113k. It's complete minus a couple drive pulleys and the afm. I can come down any weekend.

Not trying to take a sale away from Keith up there, but ive got a block with head removed, no oil pan, just block, crank, rods and pistons, 203k miles, cylinders 1, 3, and 6 have light scoring id sell for $150 meet half way. Or trade for e34 5spd parts. Let me know. Was gonna either turn it into a coffee table or rebuild and boost it but the latter wont happen for a long time. Lol

While your engine sounds really nice, I have decided to purchase an S50 block I found instead. I appreciate your offer though.
