    WTB: AFM Sensor for m20b25!

Looking to get a AFM sensor for my m20b25 motor.
I was having issues starting my car and had this guy come to my house and mess the sensor up. Apparently he thought that the little lever inside wasn't in the right place and really messed it up. Now the car runs super rich, even after putting it back into place.
Looking for something local, and in GOOD condition!
Please pm me or call/text me at 253-439-9044. Thanks!

And why are you assuming it's a e36 motor?

Hehe np! No idea why that put an adjustment on AFM's they are almost always set from factory and shouldnt be tampered with.

              MAF-Mass Air Flow
Uses a hotwire and an air temperature sensor to measure airflow. The ECU uses a combination of the voltage required to keep the hotwire a certain temperature along with the temp. sensor to determine Airflow (IIRC)

              AFM- Air Flow meter
Uses a spring loaded, flapper door to determine air flow. Does not flow as well as a MAF due to the flapper door being in the way. Older technology, but it gets the job done.

Lol about 6-8 months ago, James came to my house, the R3V owner, and he predicted this from the start! After telling him what happened to the current AFM, he told me that I'll be needing a new one as soon as the car starts up because this one will be running too rich. Smart man!

I have an AFM that just came out of my car... and another one sitting on the bench. Both work, but both have been opened up. No issues with either. You can pick it up in Kirkland or I'd be happy to send it to you. $40 + shipping.

Curt, what is the reasoning of them being opened?
And EN318, has yours ever been opened? Would you ship? :D

I'm pretty sure you just emailed me about my 325e AFM. It's still available but i'm not sure if it'll work with your 325iS. Actually i'm pretty sure, as the ETA runs Motronic 1.1 and the 325iS runs Motronic 1.3 (correct me if i'm wrong!)

Can anyone verify if this will work for this guy? I would but i'm at work!
