This thing was for sale for $8K about 6-8 months ago. Now it's $5k.

It probably has something wrong with it in the AWD part of the drivetrain which you can't find any parts for it in the US.

^ and the struts are a skank too. There's a regular in the e34 section of bf.c and he got some ass pains.

Word. Usually see it driven by a lady with children.

                  I personally wouldn't touch the car with a 39 1/2 foot pole.

Believe it or not some members may be married, and even have children! I don't have kids yet but would rather have my wife drive this than her present AWD passat wagon.

I'm with Austin & Dan, I've talked to the owner like a year ago (when he was asking 9k for it btw) it needs works & getting parts will be a complete skank & a half. But I do have to say, as an IX owner, that thing would be uber badass to smash.

I will never understand why you would put your children in such old cars.

My childhood friend works at BMW of seattle soo if its maintenance im not worried about it i get everything at cost. However if its thrashed and poorly maintained i dont want anything to do with it!

That must be it. I understand the coolness of older BMWs. But if younger creamed by a new X5 or anything larger your kids are probably done for if not yourself.
