Hey I'm selling my car to go to a one-car family. I'm in love with it, but my wife says no dicking around without a garage, so it goes to the "let's-buy-a-house" fund. Sadness.

Ad from when I bought it (read to see the goodies on it): Link to my awfully white 1991 318is.

Current Look: (Photobucket Library, wheels are the anthracite XXR 530s):

It's damn fine. Flew out to pick it up from San Diego, I've logged approx 200 miles since I've been back in Utah (I ride my bike to work...)

Things seller neglected: Non-working heat. AC needs recharge but has R134a conversion done. Besides that, they did a great job with the car.

Will get interior tonight (dk grey Corbeau cloth race seats, black rear with black M3 upper rear seat back.

    Maintenance since purchase:

    Fenders rolled professionally

    new upper/lower intake gaskets

    Motorsport hardware lug stud conversion

    16" Spal e fan.

Performed modifications to delete throttle body heater plate.

    Replaced vacuum/coolant hoses under intake.

Rebuilt injectors (new tips, o-rings, pintles, flush).

Coolant flush. Filled with BMW coolant.

    New wiper fluid reservoir/pump/lines/nozzles.

Cleaned the shit out of the underbody.

Power steering delete plate from CondorSpeedShop(have all PS components still, all work great, can re-install for you NP).

Oil filter housing gasket (to block), and o-ring replacement.

AFM re-tuned (someone messed with it, it pulls fantastic now).

    Glove box latch replaced.

    Fixed odometer gears (Garagistic)

Paint on hood/sunroof is a re-paint from a donor part (originally red) and is peeling a bit.

Full clay bar/cut/polish. Has a quick spray paint strip under driver-side window trim the length of the door. Was surface rusted, now is "fixed".

Only downside about it becoming a DD is it's really loud with hi-flow cat and exhaust (we wore ear plugs for our 14 hour trip from Ca-->UT)

Car runs fucking strong. Race pads are amazing in the canyons. Passed smog/inspection 2 months ago. Tires/wheels are brand new.

I get a house instead of track days!

    $5800.

I need to get more, just haven't had time this weekend. Will try to get more up on Monday when I get some free time.

It is my daily driver, and I take the approach of not letting it strand me anywhere from maintenance issues (hence all of the work that has been done)

I hear ya, there are pros and cons to every motor.

It's whatever makes more sense for your use in conjunction with your budget :)
