    FS: 1972 Mercedes 280SE 4.5L Automatic $2750

    EDIT: SOLD FOR $2000.

    Hey guys,

I picked up this Mercedes last summer thinking it would be a fun project to work on. Since then I have invested all of my time and money into my BMWs (like I should be) and have lost interest in restoring the car.

Its a fun car to drive around. It looks awesome (turns heads) and is a great potential project car. (these things look amazing when slammed)

I just can't afford all of these projects, so one has to leave the stable and this is it.

I know this is a BMW forum, but maybe one of your friends may be looking for a car like this.

I have a craigslist ad and have tried to be as transparent about the condition as possible. I am also willing to accept reasonable cash offers. Please help me out!

    Thanks,

    Andy

Also mention R3vlimited and I will sell the car to you for less than what is advertised.

Looking for $2750 no haggle price.

1972 Mercedes 280SE White with Red interior

Oh wow. That looks to be in great shape too. I've always liked these cars. Great price, great color. Why do I have to be unemployed right now? :( GLWS!

        The paint is pretty good.

It has been repainted in the past.

I don't know when but it wasn't the best job.

Up close there are some imperfections.

(i'm pretty anal when it comes to paint quality)

Only thing it's missing is the small flags of some tiny nation on the front corners, then it would be awesome!

It has a really big tank but also a big V8. It gets around 14-18 mpg on average.

Let me know when you're in town, and we can work things out!
