    Diesel truck update

Hi so I pretty much disappeared after the E30 picnic last year. Between my hectic work schedule and going through the process of buying a house, the diesel truck was put on hold for almost 6 months. So about two months ago I finally started the project back up again. I'll be driving it to LA for Bimmerfest next month for my 5th consecutive trip to the show so I've been spending every moment I'm not working getting this car ready for the long trip. Here's some pictures of whats changed since the last big public appearance. It has a long way from being completed but it's getting close to be a very drive-able vehicle.

First needed a new cylinder head. Also added head studs and a MLS headgasket for future projects.

New exhaust system taking an unusual turn.

And the outcome of that abnormal turn.

Picture of the installed intercooler and starting to install the Mtech1 Body.

    Made a visit to work.

    Pre-Mtech body

Post-Mtech body. As it currently looks.

It has a long way to go but it's finally starting to look more and more put together.

Holy shit! I've been thinking about a 4BT diesel Cummins swap for the longest time.

Do you have a build thread for this? I'd love to check it out. The body work is not my style, but pretty cool if you're into it.

Where are you in Washington? I'd LOVE to check this thing out in person. I'll bring the beer?

I never really started a build thread on the car. I'm not on the forums too often. A 4bt swap would be pretty cool if you could factor in the weight of the engine. I've heard the m21 called a mini 4BT while I researched it since they share a lot of parts. The project only happened because of the engine and I figured why not a diesel in a truck. I'm down in auburn.

Thanks for the compliments. I usually get pretty mixed opinions of the car. I've so far been pretty happy with it.

Awesome build!! I remember seeing your work in progress at the picnic and was jealous.

By the way, I noticed you are running hoodless, is the hood still around/ for sale?? Ive got a home for it if so, lol
