Hi neighbours!
We should hang out more often so we're inviting you, and your old BMW, to stretch its legs on this little event.
This will be the third cruise, and each year attendance and anticipation has been increasing (20 cars last year, expecting 25 this year).
A few videos I made the previous years:
Details:
We'll be crossing the border at around 10pm and expect to Rally at the Chevron on 726 Cherry Street at around 10:30. From there we gas up and go for a rip up there. We usually bring a BBQ and some meat for some grilling at the top, along with some beers. There you can make fun of our accents, politeness and prolific use of "eh". We might lecture you on gun control and the benefits of a socialist healthcare.
The date we've decided on as of now, is May 5th (Sunday) weather dependent. Some more finer details are still being hashed out as we speak but I will update the thread if there is interest.
We do drive pretty spirited at times, but generally we're safe and respectful, especially since we're visitors in another country. The conditions near the top of the mountain degrade rapidly due to loose gravel and sand so we slow down considerably. If you are planning to join, please don't do any ridiculous stunting and keep it relatively clean.
Anyways, hope to see some of you guys out there, and I'll be updating this thread when we know more.
