New to Portland. Where / how to get plugged in to PNW bimmer community?

Ello' all. Just moved to Portland from Tucson, AZ. My s52 e30 m3 and I are looking to see what's stirring in the bimmer community out here. Where is it? I'm not seeing many meetups on r3v. There's tons of e30s out here so where do I get plugged in?

    Cheers!

Either way, welcome to the area.

Tell me about it. Haha... When I bought the car it came with an M50 in it... Yes that's right an M50..... Rather than source an s14 it was too easy to swap in an s52 and call it good for what it is. Either she's my baby. haha.

Sell it and buy a Subie - nobody owns Bimmers here.

          I definitely approve of a 24v swapped E30 M3. Wilkommen!

Cool. Like a 2 hour drive from Portland? I'll def try and make the journey. There isn't like a weekly or monthly meetup in Portland area though? I'm surprised. I see a lot of e30s on the road included 4 total e30 m3s in the 2 weeks I've been here.

And yes... Subarus have taken over the PNW...

Would love to see this car in person, with so many purists driving E30 M3's it's nice to see a few gnarly souls go against the grain. Your best bet to meet most of the local guys in the PNW and PDX area is to come to the Picnic. Your best bet to get to know a lot of the local guys is to come to the party the night before in Tacoma.

                  Welcome!

E30 Picnic might be a tough weekend for me to make, but I'm def going to try. No monthly Portland or Vancouver, WA meetups?

There's usually some E30's or BMW's including mine (along with lots of cars of all types) every Saturday morning at Cascade Cars and Coffee Portland. Links are in my sig. There's also the Oregon BMW CCA: http://bmworegoncca.com/

There's the red door meet every Sunday on 1st and belmont. Lots of variety there. Maybe 5% BMW but those numbers Seam to increase every week, it would be nice to see more e30's down there. It ussually takes up 4-5 city blocks.
