Can I use aircraft paint stripper to get the paint off of my OBD1 intake manifold?

    Can I use aircraft paint stripper to get the paint off of my OBD1 intake manifold?

    ...or will it destroy the plastic?

    that stuff is way to nasty to use on a minifold it will destroy the plastic if left on too long. also it smells like shit. just sand the manifold down a bit and paint it.

      Hit it with some 400, go over it with a piece of scotch brite, wipe it down with lacquer thinner, prime it and paint it.
