    Wtb m20 oil pan

Sooo there's a 4-foot wide band of asphalt patching for some ongoing utility work that runs east-west across 15th ave NE just south of 65th in Seattle. Anybody who cruises the Maple Leaf, Ravenna, U-District area has probably seen it. They must've driven a bus over it while it was still soft, because this patchwork amounts to big ruts for tires and big mounds of asphalt between them...

Long story short, I gave one of those mounds a haircut with my oil pan on the way to the fireworks at Gas Works last night. Killed the engine immediately after impact and checked it by the side of the road fearing a totally shattered pan. Luckily, all I could see were scrapes but unfortunately, there was a steady drip coming from what looked like the back of the pan.

I immediately hightailed it home and parked it over a bunch of cardboard before hightailing it down to catch the end of the fireworks. When I came back it had overflowed the cardboard (but was still just a steady drip) so I jacked it up and got a proper oil pan under there before zipping to QFC for some kitty litter.

Brutal, awful, terrible experience that could've been much worse.

Anyways - does anyone in the Seattle area have an M20 oil pan lying around? A unused gasket would also be nice but I'm assuming I'll probably have to order that..

Thanks to Bmr for coming to the rescue and meeting me halfway between Bellingham and Seattle with a pan AND gasket for less than half of what Pelican wants!! Car should be back on the road less than 24 hours after being neutered on what was essentially a disgusting pothole.
