    WTB: 318is/i fuel pump (m42)

Mine is crapping out. I should buy a new one but if I can track one down before the weekend I wont have to pay extra $$$ for shipping on the already $300 pump. Let me know Seattle area!

Link to the model you used? How long have you been running that setup?

From what I know, there are different ways of knowing when the pump is going out, depending on the model. Can you elaborate a little as of the symptoms of the so call failing pump?

For example in my previous e46, the failure was Total right after what appeared to be a cold start syndrome for few days (both the pump and sending units failed on me).
