Need help installing fuel pump. Paying for help

So my stock one is failing after 190k miles. It's squealing n whining. The usual symptoms of a failing pump. I purchased an after market one online that alot of people recommended. I never changed a fuel pump before nor have I done any work on Bmws. I own an evo 9 and know the inside and out of those. I'm willing to pay someone to install the pump for me. I've read all the DIY guides and it looks fairly simple, just I don't have the time or experience to do it. Based on the guide, you'd have to modify the stock pump housing for the new bigger one to seat correctly. Let me know thanks! This is on an 88 325i convertible by the way. Will be providing beers.

Message me or text/call at 206-972-7510. -Tim

I think because the new one is longer so you have to cut the bottom of the bracket/housing it sits in. Anyone want to do it?

Save yourself the hassle and spend the extra dough on the right OEM figment fuel pump for your car.

Its pretty straight forward and if you have to modify shit to get your new aftermarket pump to work return it and get a proper one.

Save whoever ends up with your BMW after you the headache of a hack job fuel pump install.

If you get the right pump I'm sure more people would be willing to help out. Its literally a 30-45 minute job if you have a late model car. Did mine on my lunch break at work.

Don't forget to order a new fuel pump seal where it seals up into the tank.

Yah it's just trimming the bottom of it to fit the filter on. No one local of federal way? Or I can drive up to your place.

I don't understand why some people go the route of an aftermarket pump, when the OEM is just fine and less hassle.

Now, if you have megasquirt, supercharger or other shit like that, I can see you 'upgrading' the fuel pump, but not otherwise.

My OEM lasted close to 20 years and crapped out mostly because the car sits for most of the week. If you can change wipers you can change your pump. Just my 0.02...
