PDX/Vanc Machine Shop Recommendations

Looking for machine shop recommendations to magnaflux and polish a crank, block boring, balancing, etc. A search on here brought up Don's on Stark as a recommended shop for flywheels, anyone have experience with them doing engine work? Anyone have experience with Portland Engine Rebuilders? Other possible recommendations?

Interesting, i called PER about the crank work and they quoted me 2 days. Do you have firsthand experience with them?

A friend had them do just a stock M20 build a few years back. It took 6+ months. Their turn around time sucked but the quality of the work seemed good, fwiw.

Thanks butters; I just talked with Brian (I think it was) this morning. He mentioned they had built several s52/54 engines. Nice to have a shop with familiarity to the specific parts I'm dealing with. I'll have to check out the vids, thx again.
