I did not do the swap. I purchased the car with it that way. Im really not to sure why the PO decided to go with the late model coolant overflow. I guess he like the look of it better perhaps? lol. When he did the conversion he had a 1990 parts car so he just transferred everything from that over to this car. I would think you could still reuse the original early style one if you desired.
