Agreed, they put some good money into the handling bits. Looks like a nice car but going rate is probably closer to half of asking.

Yeah i over payed for my 1991 318is knowingly. Im just impatient and had been looking for months. My 318is was $6700. Most people would laugh that price off but the interior and body was solid so im not complaining.

ya i paid 6k for my 90is but it has lots of high dollar upgrades from Hartage, Stromung, UUC, etc and doesnt have a single dent or door ding... (and has a 2" think binder of all the maintenance that has ever been done)

This car should for sell around 6-6.5k

It does have some tasteful upgrades and with the rate of E30 prices only increasing, I expect to see him sell this car for $7500 or so to the right person.

I think that 12k is a overkill. I was expecting to see a full mtech 2 kit and S50 with a turbo . It does look like a clean car but not for 12k.

If a 300,000 mile eta is worth $2500, then yes. That car is worth $12k.

Find a e30 that has good history, maintenance records and overall cleanliness that e30 possesses. Reason you were looking for months is because those type of e30s rarely exist nowadays.

Not trying to come off as a dick, but I know that car in and out, and you paid the right amount, if not less.

                  Just sayin'

This. I paid 8k for my 325is. It was a lot. Lower mileage, completely un-molested, 2-owner car, all of the records since new, pre-purchase done by Munich Evolution, and the exact year/model I was after.

The more I drive it, the more I feel like it was worth it. And guess what... it's been as dead-reliable as my Toyota Pickup.

The e30 m3 went up 30% this year so i would assume the standard e30s would have went up in price too. They're becoming classics and harder to find in good condition.

R3v is notoriously cheap. In roundel or to someone who wants a really clean car they go for 7-8k all day long and excellent examples easily fetch 10-12k.

It's not the 1k tinker toy BMW any longer.
