    PDX Exhaust Shop -

So I'm dropping and S52 into my car and want to have a nice, stock-looking exhaust that isn't too obnoxious. Anyone have any recommendations?

I like exhaust specialties too. They've done a few local swap cars. They'll be doing mine eventually.

Does Exhaust Specialties do mandrel bends or do they weld pre-bent pipes?

I am sure they would mandrel bend. I cannot say with first hand experience, though.

I called inner SE Portland Exhaust Specialties and talked to a younger guy about the exhaust on my e30 m50 - it was really difficult for him to wrap his mind around an exhaust for a 4 cyl car from 1991 with a 6 cyl motor from 1992. Did I just talk to the wrong guy? Seems like I see BMWs in this shop often.

I deliver to Get Bent on highway 212 often. They seem like a competent shop and do nice mandrel bending. Might give that a shot.

I had good luck with Exhaust Specialties in Beaverton. I've heard good things about Get Bent

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately with just a header dump I'm hesitant to drive anywhere besides on/off a trailer, which is why I was attempting to call ahead and get some numbers.

A1 Muffler on Barbur. They did a custom downpipe back system on my legacy gt. It looks good and wasn't too spendy. I'd definitely recommend them. I'd imagine you'll be looking at $600 or so since they'll have custom make a collector for the headers.

                              Bump.

Any new feedback on exhaust shops? I'm thinking I'll try Exhaust Specialties in Beaverton since they are really close.
All I want is to have an ODBII exhaust modified for an e30s50.
