    Need measurements on front struts

If anyone has some struts laying around they can measure for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to try put E30 front struts into my 2002 when I do coil overs. Something like this: http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/2002...coilovrCF.html Not sure what brand or what rates or what not. Would love some input on that also. Pros/ cons of using the different year E30 struts.

I need the diameter of the strut body and length and also the diameter of the "piston".

    Any help would be appreciated.

        Thanks for the link.

I'm making new strut tubes, threaded for an adjustable spring perch. Once they are done, I'll cut the old strut tubes off and weld the new strut tubes to my 2002 spindles.

        Thats why I needed measurements.

        Quadrajet has me covered.

            I'll take those measurements also.

I need the length and diameter of C and the diameter of A in this gif:

            I'm guessing M3 are different than say a 325/318is.

Thanks for any help you can give me Thizzelle.
