This, I would offer $1000 if it was in my area. It doesn't need a ton of work to get up into the $3,500 range. but you are missing some pretty substantial parts that the 'IS' came with to make it more appealing to buyers.

Its an airbag m42... the only thing to my knowledge it doesnt have is weaves.

And it must just be r3v, because granted Im not getting offers right now for $3500, the other cash offers are between 2-3k. Its been up for 2 hours. If this thread doesnt show more hope in a few days, will just delete it cause its not doing me any good.

$1500 seems more than fair. If you got a 3k offer then you should take it - but I'll believe it when you have the cash.

Hey, wasn't trying to be rude. Just saying without the factory basket weaves, a really rough exterior and mis-matched interior you would have a hard time selling it for $3,500.

That's just what I've seen from my market a little further north from you. we've had very nice 318is go for $4500 up here and they had everything in great shape and full service records.
I have also seen ones slightly worse than what yours appears to be, go for $1000. thus my 2cents.

I agree with Turf, someone waves more than $2000 after looking the car over you should take it.

And that reasonable offer will probably be in the $1500 range. Not trying to be dick or anything man but, you're asking a lot for your car.
Parker made some solid points. I think if you spent a some time tidying up some stuff you might be able to get your asking price.

He can ask what he wants. However, I personally would run away screaming with excitement and joy with $2k, honestly.

I couldn't even get $1k for a fucking running/driving manual cabrio last week...

I think the things that need tidying up dont justify the offers.

Like I said, must be r3v. Not that I wouldnt want to get the best deal possible, but I think people here are just cheap. My last e30 that I sold in the recent past, all my offers came from CL, and I sold my diving board car with high miles for $3600 and the buyer made a road trip for it. Granted it needed less work on the stuff that was actually replacable, but needed more labor.

And people keep mentioning asking price when I cleary stated this was just a place to start. I in no way expect 3500.

I take that back, not cheap, I just dont think the offers are reflecting what non r3v member are willing to pay.

Trust me when I say I'm far from cheap. All I'm saying is the car looks rough and asking $3500 is pretty high starting asking price. Even though its just asking price and you don't expect to get what you're asking. I'd still ask for less.

Good luck dude. I hope you get what you want. When all of those high offers disappear silently into the night I hope you say "Must be Craigslist...".
