    Help Needed - Heater Core

    Hey Guys,

My heater core needs replacement. I have an spare unit that I am thinking about dropping in, with new seals and new aluminum hoses.

I have never done it before, but for I understand is not that technically challenging, but requires getting down and dirty near the gas pedal.

This is where I have an issue: I had knee surgery recently and the last thing I want is to twist the knee, or put a lot of pressure as the sutures are still healing.

So instead of waiting another 6 months to install it myself while driving on the cold, I figure I reach out for some help. I can provide food, drinks (whatever drink you want, I probably have it) and/or some cash. You can also look through my stash of e30-related-items and pick.

I have an open carport, where the car is currently sitting. Please PM me if interested. I am ordering parts this week, and plan on getting it done during 3/15 or 3/16.

You should do the valve/switch part while you're at it.
I did the core a while back, noticed small seepage/ leak from the valve after all was said and done But have some who's done it before as to avoid a mess haha.

NLA, unless they find some in Germany, which isn't too likely. If so, they're $232.
