    '90 325is S52 FEELER $15,000

    1990 BMW 325 IS (W/ S52 Swap)
    For Sale - $15,000

Hey guys, just posting this as a feeler, the car might be up for sale shortly. Those that are familiar with this car can attest to the quality and performance.

Up for sale (MAYBE) is a completed project, years in the making. The price is more than justified, when you consider the high quality parts, extensive development work, and build time put into this example. Work was performed almost exclusively by Jparker and his team at Accuracy Automotive, with additional work performed by former Grand-Am racing mechanic and master fabricator Jon Ament at JA Custom Works. Capable of running lap times quicker than PRO3 racing cars, track prepped E92 M3’s, and Porsche Turbo’s, this machine is ready to tackle anything you can throw at it. And when you’ve finished at the track, simply take off your helmet and drive it home like nothing ever happened; this car is as at home on the road as it is on the track. Despite being built with the track in mind, it is still more than comfortable on the road, and could be daily driven with no inconvenience whatsoever. Below is a list of what work has been performed on the car:

    Engine & Transmission:

    ·
    S52 from a 1999 M-Coupe with 70k miles
    · S50 intake manifold
    · KA-Motors intake (positioned directly behind high-beam delete)
    · Bimmerworld high capacity radiator (w/ aux. fan)
    · Shorty Headers & Custom fabricated exhaust
    · Oil-pan baffle
    · Race-Skids 24v skid plate
    · Custom tuned ECU
    · Lightweight flywheel (I don’t know the exact weight, but it’s extremely light)
    · AKG Shifter w/ DSSR
    · M3 pressure plate w/ stage II competition clutch
    · Delrin motor & transmission mounts
    · 4.10 LSD (Rebuilt by Advanced Auto Fabrication/Hank Moore with less than 1k miles on unit)
    · Newer clutch slave cylinder (less than 2k miles)
    · Getrag 260 Transmission

    Suspension & Steering:

    · Rota RB wheels
    · BF-Goodrich G-force Rival tires (225/45/15)
    · Performance Friction “08”ceramic brake pads
    · Brembo blank rotors
    · Steel braded brake lines (complete set)
    · Newer control arms & M3 bushings (less than 2k miles)
    · New tie rods (less than 1k miles)
    · New power steering rack (less than 1k miles)
    · Ireland Engineering sway bars (front and rear, but rear is disconnected for handling purposes)
    · Ground Control single adjustable coil-over suspension (spring rates are currently 450/650)
    · Ground Control “race” camber plates
    · Delrin rear sub-frame bushings
    · Delrin rear trailing arm bushings
    · Adjustable rear sub-frame (toe-camber is adjustable)

    Interior & Exterior:

    ·
    Momo deep-dish steering wheel
    · European gauge cluster (reads in km)
    · German “Check panel”
    · New leather shift boot & handbrake boot
    · Front bumper, valance, chin spoiler, hood, fenders professionally repainted
    · Exterior recently professionally detailed by Accuracy Automotive

If I can think of any additional details I will include them. I get compliments everywhere I go with this car, and it is a blast to drive. The areas that need attention are as follows:

    · Trunk has a small dent that has cracked the paint
    · Driver’s door has a dent/scratch below the trim line (hard to see)
    · Passenger side front blinker doesn’t work
    · Car has no horn
    · Fog-lights are not operational…. And I don’t know why
    · Rear sound deadening has been removed, as well as trunk lining. This could be a pro or con depending on how you look at it. It really did a lot for handling and acceleration, but as a result the trunk looks a little bare, and road noise went up a bit.

This car really was built as a track/sport driving car, but is totally usable on the street as well. Just don’t expect a plain-Jane E30. Driving this car is a very rewarding experience, and something I have enjoyed for many years. I am potentially selling this car to move to the next project; likely a Cayman, 911, or S54 M Roadster. Thank you for your time, and don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like any additional information. Roughly 200k Miles on chassis.

The car is no longer for sale, but I'm going to leave the ad up, should anyone ever have any valuation disputes with their insurance companies in the future, this might help prove fair value. For personal reasons I have decided not to sell the car, however, I DID RECEIVE AN OFFER TO PURCHASE FOR THE FULL ASKING PRICE. Doubters will say I'm lying or making it up, but those that know me know this isn't the case. Just goes to show that for the right buyer these cars are actually worth something.
